LTL - Partials

Partial Truck Loads are shipments over 5,000 pounds, more than 6 pallets or take up 12 linear feet or greater. Partial truckloads can save you money with less handling of cargo. Your cargo usually stays in one trailer, and there is no LTL cross-docking, resulting in less damage. Freight class is not needed for partial truckloads, which will avoid extra charges with freight re-classification.

Common Carrier LTL is based on freight class, Shipments that take up more space can be charged per linear foot or higher-class rates driving up costs.
